The European Conference on Optical Communication (ECOC) is Europe’s leading and one of the world’s largest and most prestigious events in the field of optical communication. We from PolyPhotonics Berlin e.V. are also taking part again this year. Our platforms are based on the hybrid integration of active and passive optical components in photonic integrated circuits (PICs) from the visible to the infrared wavelength range. With the micro-optical bench, spectral filters, optical isolators and circulators as well as non-linear crystals can be integrated into the PICs for applications in the field of quantum optics and the SiN platform provides optical grating couplers, switches and ring resonators for components in communications engineering, sensor technology or medical technology.
